BWJFC History......
Burnbridge Wanderers Junior Football Club was founded in 1999, with the Warriors being formed in 2002 due to the large numbers of players registered in one of the age groups; as the FA leagues only accepted a certain number of players per team, the club formed the Warriors which still exists today.
The club is run on a voluntarily basis but is assisted by individuals, local and national businesses who have provided sponsorship for the teams to supply new items such as kit, training aids and goals. Burnbridge Wanderers & Warriors JFC is affiliated to the Somerset Football Association and abides by the rules and constitution of this body.
BWJFC has 12 coaches who train age groups from the Under 6's to Under 16's, all of our coaches hold junior management positions, child protection certification, first aid and FA coaching accreditation as a minimum.
With a home at the BASC ground in Burnham-on-Sea and additional ground at West Huntspill, Burnbridge Wanderers & Warriors JFC, is the face of football in Somerset.
